Roebic Laboratories, Inc.: 50th Anniversary
In 1959, Lewis Bush, a salesman for a regional plumbing and sewer-products company in New Haven, CT, had a vision of taking the firm's products to a national level. His employer, however, didn't share his vision, so, like any good entrepreneur, Bush formed his own company and began manufacturing and selling a line of ahead-of-their-time, bacterial-based plumbing and sewer products.
