Roebic® Laboratories, Inc., founded in 1959, in New Haven, Connecticut was established to provide consumers with environmentally friendly products that would aid their sewage disposal system and not harm the environment. Roebic has become a leading supplier of pipes, wastewater, drains and plumbing products to the hardware, home center, plumbing supply, institutional food service, hospitality industry and agricultural businesses throughout the United States and foreign markets.

The Roebic product line has expanded from five basic items to a product mix that consists of over 25 products, in over 45 package sizes that are labeled in 4 languages. Roebic products include Septic Tank & Cesspool Treatments and other waste water management systems. The Roebic line also includes Drain & Trap Cleaners, Soap Digesters and a Main Line Cleaner for household or commercial use. An outdoor recreational line includes products for the treatment of RV & Marine Holding Tanks and Grey Water as well as Bacterial Composters & Dethatchers for gardens, golf courses, parks, etc. Also offered is an evacuation system cleaner for the dental industry. Roebic® has an agricultural product line for farm manure management that includes a Manure Deodorizer, Manure Liquefier and an Odor Eliminator.

Where required, Roebic products are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Agriculture, as well as state and local agencies. The biological sewage treatment products are certified 100% biodegradable by Scientific Certification Systems, Inc. of Oakland, California and the Roebic Bacterial Composter bears the Green Cross Logo.
